“迅猛龙”警用突击车是采用美国福特F550短轴距专用底盘改装而成的特种车辆。外型采用自主知识产权的外型设计，车身采用进口防弹材料制作并采用重叠式的防弹结构设计，以确保该车的防护性能，整车防弹性能满足公安部GA668-2006 B级或C级防弹要求。前档和车门玻璃采用大尺寸防弹玻璃，整车视野开阔。短轴距的底盘配合5.2米长的车身使得该车转弯半径小，机动灵活。军用越野防弹轮胎和大角度的接近角和离去角确保该车越野性能优越。5个车门的独特设计，确保队员快速上下车辆。V10大马力的进口发动机，使得整车动力强劲，该车最高车速达140km/h。自动变速箱、盘式制动结合ABS和安全气囊使得该车操作性能优越、制动可靠、安全舒适。底盘安装主副两个燃油箱，使得该车续行能力达到600公里。该车适用于军队、武警、公安、边防等部门执行反恐维稳、边防巡逻、缉毒抓捕等任务。
